Description To
Anna Chiara, being able to portray the inner spirit of her subject
through the eyes and facial expression is paramount. Like most good
sculptors, she believes the sculpture must live. A sculpture not
only has a physical presence but a spiritual one as well. For a
sculpture to be brought to life, Anna Chiara believes it her task to
transform either marble of clay or bronze into a spiritual being
with a soul extending beyond the physical form.
