Description
In
Suzann Victor's second solo exhibition in Singapore since 1995, she
explores issues such as feminism, social cultures and identify
through 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art, and even unique works
such as sound sculptures. Among her exhibits is "Third World Extra
Virgin Dreams", first shown in Havana, Cuba. For this installation
piece, a "levitating" bed suspended with cables just above eye level
is cloaked by a 15-metre glass quilt cascading symmetrically from
both sides.
