Description
 There
is something for everyone at this year’s Theatre Fest. Organised and
presented by The Substation, Theatre Fest is a showcase of
experimental work in theatre and drama by local and foreign
performers and arts groups.
My
Husband is a Spaceman is a multi-media show about a Japanese office
girl who has almost given up any expectations of meeting "Mr. Right"
until she encounters Robin, an English University research fellow in
Tokyo. They marry and move to England. However, married life is not
what she expects. In this performance, using an old Japanese folk
tale of love between a peasant and a crane, Hohki explores
cross-cultural relationships, loneliness and how to survive it, as
well as barren understanding and fruitful misunderstandings.
